This book is not worth the $19.95 price. This woman went on a "dream vacation" as she called it and turned it into a constant whine! She says over and over from the start to the finish that "she just wants to go home", that she is miserable and in fact makes the reader miserable reading about all her "gripes". I found myself feeling very sorry for "George" as most of the whining was directed toward him. She even threw a tantrum when she found that he had stashed some "junk food" away knowing that she was opposed to it, and then later she eats 3 ice creams, 2 Snickers bars and potato chips to "comfort " herself!. She bashes all the food at all the places that she eats with the exception of the Coast Guard Base and she bashes many of the stores for their "Made in China" souvenirs. She totally destroyed Best Buy's reputation. The book has spelling errors throughout the book, clearly it was not edited. If the writer would have spent more time elaborating on the sights and less on whining about the weather it could have been a good book. When they finally get back on the road and you think that you are finally going to hear about interesting places they went, they are in overdrive to get home because they have had enough. When she does talk about some of the sights, i.e. a unusual barn, she does not state where the barn is located. The most disappointing part is they went through the areas where history abounds and NEVER stop to see anything let alone describe it. I bought the book hoping to hear specifics about the areas they traveled through, but only got a daily diatribe on her frustrations. After hearing over and over again that she took most of her pictures through slobber covered windows I would not think about buying her book of pictures.Product details

This is a wonderful book. It held my interest from cover to cover. I felt as if I were riding along with them. I was drawn in by the wonderful descriptions as if I were viewing places first hand. The author made me see some things from a different perspective. I laughed and cried as I read. It was difficult to put the book down and I was disapointed when it ended.
Excellent book. Once I started it I couldn't put it down. Their adventures in an RV for sure. Something new around every corner. Detailed happenings on what we would take for granted. She did well at explaining the places they visited. No pictures yet you could imagine them with her writing.
